A message from our Director

One of my favourite expressions is 'Aspire to Inspire'. Let me tell you why it resonates so strongly with me.

Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the devastation caused by addiction, mental health issues, family separation, and domestic violence. These experiences left lasting scars, but I still consider myself one of the lucky ones. I had role models and mentors who believed in me and inspired me to strive for something better. They showed me that my trauma didn't have to define me and that it could even become a superpower.

At our company, we understand the importance of mentorship and support in the lives of young people. We strive to be a source of hope and positivity, and to empower young people to believe in themselves and find their own path in life. That's what "Aspire to Inspire" means to me. It's about the power of mentorship, role models, and the shared belief that we can overcome challenges and become the best version of ourselves.

As the Director of Pathfinders, I have dedicated my career to working with disengaged and marginalised young people, using my skills and training in youth work, mental health, and trauma-informed care to empower and inspire them to reach their full potential. I draw from my own personal experiences and insights into the crucial impact that mentorship has on the development and success of young people, and implement that knowledge into our evidence-based programs and services.
